MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for launching Football titles in collaboration with football club partners across the region
- Researching and gathering market insights across the football and gaming industries in Europe
- Creation of 360 integrated marketing strategy and campaigns for the Europe territory in close collaboration with the company
- Drive, manage and motivate the core European team consisting of: Club Partnerships, Communications and Esports set clear objectives and co-ordinating activities within their fields
- Lead the European management of agencies for implementation of the Football marketing, comms and activation strategy.
- Use research findings to ensure up to the minute understanding of consumer behaviour and wants, sharing this information where relevant with applicable stake holders.
- On-going ROI analysis, rights activation tracking and post-mortem of Football activity and sharing of information with relevant teams to improve future planning
- Internal planning and briefing of creative assets. Including managing creative agencies on Football brand strategy and creative executions
- In conjunction with Communications and Partnerships departments, create activation plans, events and trips.
- Support the activation of European esports and other marketing mix elements related to Football
- Project manage collaboration opportunities with other brands and products related to football club partners or within European football industry
- Coordinate Football marketing activations across EMENA territories and proactively seek new opportunities across the region
- Management of internal marketing communications and information sharing across the company
- Ensure Football brand consistency across all creative assets and digital platforms
- Complete internal and external compliance for all relevant European protocols ie. GDPR and internal brand approval processes
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Experience in brand building, sports marketing, lifecycle management, and communications ideally in the football and/or entertainment industry
- Must have excellent understanding of digital media and the importance of customer insight
- Able to look for new opportunities and build local initiatives into global plans
- Experience in creating, planning and executing marketing strategies across football or other sports industries
- Ideally have international experience either regionally or globally however not essential
- Commercially focused to ensure return on investment
- Strong B2B focus and experience working with football clubs in Europe
- Able to communicate openly and effectively with management, European territories, and Japanese HQ
- Flexibility to work with a variety of cultures and beliefs
- Pro-active and initiative, flexibility in approach, and willing to listen to other’s point of view
- Positive and pragmatic
- Accountable and able to take responsibility
- Ability to drive their vision for the brand plan and be passionate about their brands
