As the Marketing Manager (Acquisition), you will deliver activities that win new members across the full breadth of our product offer. You will plan and oversee marketing campaigns, promotions and partnership activity that delivers new members across a range of target markets. You would be joining a busy marketing team who have a passion for giving great service to internal customers, and who can work cross-functionally (with remote colleagues). You'll demonstrate excellent communication skills, commercial acumen and have multi-channel acquisition marketing experience. You'll need a strong understanding of ATL media buying (including TV, OOH and Radio) and BTL activity (such as paid social and display) as well as digital marketing experience including SEO and PPC. Experience of UX, CMS and Google Analytics is essential. Job Description Plan, implement and continuously optimise always-on and tactical marketing activity that achieves new customer targets and admissions forecasts. Responsible for briefing the in-house digital media teams to plan and deliver measurable and strategic digital marketing activity (Paid Social, Paid Search, SEO and Programmatic) Influence and contribute to the launch of a new single-wallet brand experience, ensuring that retail business performance is protected throughout Develop website content that delivers an exceptional UX with a focus on new member registrations and pre-books (bingo & events), reducing BR, and introducing retargeting/basket abandonment strategies Support omni-channel marketing initiatives that aim to cross-sell products/experiences between Mecca Digital and Mecca Retail Work alongside F&B Team, Slots Team and Procurement Dept. to plan and implement partnership marketing/contribution activity that reaches new audiences and converts, for minimal spend Work closely with the Marketing Manager (Retention) to ensure an exceptional online journey for returning visitors, with a greater focus on pre-book (bingo) for existing members Accountable for the profitability/member value of all new customers up until 3months after online registration/first visit (working closely with CRM and in-venue colleagues to scope and measure a revised new member journey) Deliver weekly and monthly (business) performance reviews - that clearly articulates objectives, metrics and performance TD and Vs plan (using a range of KPIs including Users/Sessions, BR, ROAS, CTR, OR, OTS, Reach, Engagement and Conversion) Work closely with Finance Business Partner to lead all decision-making with commercial objectivity and understand ROI on all activity undertaken Work with counterparts to investigate and establish best practise across affiliate and paid partnership marketing and influencer activity Plan and coordinate a brand promotional calendar (closed user group offers) to deliver incremental members using a mix of product, value and price levers (i.e Black Friday) Qualifications Experience working in a commercial environment, realising opportunities to deliver incremental sales (across different revenue streams) to enhance the bottom line Experience of new user journey mapping and the use of Data/Insights to make decisions and track performance Natural problem solver, with a solutions-focussed approach Ability to lead change with calmness and clarity Experience in dealing with senior stakeholders and management of highly complex projects Communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to negotiate and persuade others, using fact/data-based evidence Agency and budget management experience Relevant legislative understanding Numerical data interpretation and analysis skills Strong people manager with experience in training and developing junior team members Additional Information Role will be hybrid, based a minimum of 3 days per week at the Maidenhead Office What's in it for you we hear you ask?
