Your Role
- Accountable for day-to-day administration of the VTBA LAN, SDWAN, WLAN, and WAN located in the VTBA facilities.
- Ensure that the whole network infrastructure is available based on best practices secured for use according to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) conditions.
- Ensure IT infrastructure is used in the most efficient manner through planning and controlling service solution capacity to satisfy user demand within performance levels defined in SLAs.
- Enforce the VTBA IM Policy and perimeter security for VT BA.
- Develop and implement a continuous improvement program to make sure that the network infrastructure is always up to date
- Analyze and solve issues/problems together with third-party specialists
- Plan and realize customer projects
Minimum 3 years of experience within a local or remote user support team on IT position or comparable skills gained through other IT roles.
Customer-facing skills (Role involves dealing with various users on various levels on a daily basis).
Knowledge and practical skills within best practice of ITIL methodology are beneficial.
IT project management experience.
Responsible for end-user assistance for hardware, software, operating system, and other personal computer-related support requests
Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve network-related failures and initiate corrective action as necessary
Respond to and solve complex technical problems escalated from the global IM ServiceDesk
Develop and maintain VT BA’s environment documentation and solutions/knowledge database
Coordinate third-party support as required
Travel to other VT BAs offices, often at short notice to provide technical support, installation services, or general proactive maintenance/research tasks as required
