- General administration (invoicing, filing, ordering stock & stationery/CD stock)
- Getting watermarked CD’s produced
- Preparing / printing any documents required for weekly meetings
- Updating the gig guide document every week
- Collating info from all departments and updating the sales notes for each of our releases
- Booking bikes / cabs / couriers
- Ticket ordering for gigs on behalf of the marketing team
- Answering calls for marketing team if not at desk
- Ordering any POS needed e.g. flyers, stickers, posters
- Co-ordination of street teams on various projects
- Assisting the Marketing Assistant in scheduling new releases and liaising with production
- Canvassing promo quantities from TV, Radio, Press and Sales
- Collating and distributing assets – e.g. pack shots, press releases, bios etc
- Ordering videos for external contacts
- Arranging travel and getting travel reqs approved by finance
- Budgeting in Uniport; including approving quotes, raising POs etc
- Keeping diligent track of watermarked cd’s both production of and tracking
- Sourcing and ordering any merchandise or special items
- Assist in, if required, TV and Radio ads
- Attend gigs; assist on facilitating after shows and showcases
- Any other reasonable duties as required by the marketing team
- Passionate about music
- Experience in a similar role (preferably in marketing)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
- Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
- Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
- Self-motivated with the ability to deal with the routine tasks as well as the more interesting aspects of the role
- Hard-working and enthusiastic
- Good IT skills i.e. Word Packages and Excel
- Tactful and diplomatic
- Ability to use own initiative in terms of problem solving
