Marketing Executive (Italian—speaking)
£30k + bonus + benefits
Kaplan Language Group (KLG) provides high-quality, language-travel programs across the world through its three brands, Kaplan International Languages, Alpadia Language Schools, and ESL Education. All are recognized leaders in the educational travel sector, committed to offering high-quality, immersive language experiences to students from over 100 countries.
We are now looking to recruit a talented Italian-speaking Marketing Executive whose focus will be to support, sustain and grow the strong presence of our brands in Italy, whilst also providing operational support for projects in other markets. The position is based within the Regional European marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Manager, France, Italy Spain. The role would involve working with an international team, based in offices across Europe and would offer extensive exposure to international marketing, using a variety of digital and traditional offline channels.
The position would ideally suit someone with previous experience in a communications role, which required operating in both Italian and English, who is looking to join an international business with scope for career progression.
Responsibilities will include:
Creating and implementing a marketing activity calendar to drive leads and conversion efforts through online and offline channels- Supporting the development and implementation of Regional Marketing projects, with focus on growing revenue and ROI
- General marketing research, including competitor activity monitoring, to create new and creative campaign ideas
- Working with the content, email, design, and web teams to develop digital campaigns
- Website and blog management: writing, translating, and proofreading content
- Writing compelling content for partners
- Outreach, digital PR and best practice industry trends
- Sourcing and securing sponsorship / blogger partnerships / influencers
- Social media planning, research, and execution
- Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
- Organizing events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions
- Supporting the development of SEO strategy, including seeding content and link building.
About you
To be considered for the position, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (desirable)
- Spoken and written fluency in Italian and English
- Solid awareness of Italian culture as well as other that of European countries
- Relevant marketing experience
- Keen interest in online trends, technology, social media, blogs, and travel
- Ability to think creatively and contribute ideas
- Experience and passion in creating content
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize those tasks and meet deadlines
- Proven success in applying strategy, using marketing channels with focus on digital
- Experience with website analytics tools
- Knowledge of HTML, website management (CMS), and mass email (CRM)
- PPC and best performance media practice (desirable)
- Complimentary experience of offline marketing (desirable)

Salary and benefits
This is a full-time position based in London. You will be fully supported in your role with on-going coaching and training from your colleagues and managers.
