An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive who is looking to take a hands-on approach to learning. The right candidate will be an ambitious individual, professional and keen to become established with superb administration and marketing ability.
Your main area of work will be to assist the Digital Content Manager and Directors across key areas of the business and support the creation, implementation, and evaluation of our marketing campaigns.
A full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, the successful candidate would be based at our offices in Pride Park in Derby.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting our marketing campaigns by creating campaign assets, building emails, testing and enhancing performance metrics turning insight into actionable recommendations.
- Uploading and maintaining the content on the website by utilising the submitted copy from speakers and translating this into punchy, engaging, SEO-optimised copy for the website.
- Supporting the production team with monthly webinar creation for the core platform, including publishing and promoting.
- Planning, creating, implementing and evaluating social media posts to establish a presence and reach across social media platforms, relevant for platform prospects, event attendees and customers.
- Assist with the organisation and support of our events.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support their efforts in achieving targets.
Skills:
- First-class communication to build lasting relationships with our clients, speakers, and customers. It is imperative to have excellent communication skills with an understanding that language and tone is everything.
- Experience of building marketing emails.
- Creative skills, which may include website or graphic design, and/or copywriting / proofreading. A demonstrable knowledge of design software e.g. Canva, Creative Cloud or Adobe Suite is essential.
- A start-up mentality, as well as an interest in wearing “multiple hats” to get the job done.
- Highly organised – able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changes in priority and / or direction easily.

Who are we?
For Media Group is an on-demand video platform designed for professionals across a range of sectors. We launched with For Legal (www.forlegal.co.uk) in mid-2021 where we work with a network of speakers and advertisers to produce monthly webinars for the legal profession.
Since 2022, we also host face-to-face conferences and will continue to grow and expand our offering with many events across the UK. For Media Group is run by a small but highly experienced team. Starting salary of £22,000 - £25,000 plus annual bonus.
