About the role
Staffordshire University London Campus is looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and collaborative Marketing & Events Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the university's growth and success by driving the recruitment of student channels and enhancing the university's reputation.
The Marketing & Events Officer will work closely with the Head of Recruitment & Outreach to create annual marketing campaign plans for student recruitment channels. They will manage the annual corporate campaigns, act as a marketing account manager for Staffordshire University London and provide support for the university's annual marketing plans.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for our Marketing and Events Officer will be to facilitate communication strategies for student recruitment campaigns and monitoring and analysing all media and digital activity to ensure that Staffordshire University London's exposure is maximized. The Marketing & Events Officer will oversee the production of all recruitment marketing materials and manage the process and timeline for content creation for the annual publication cycle. They will also lead on the planning and delivery of our Open Days, Offer Holder Days and other recruitment that are designed to show case the best of what the University has to offer it's student's in the capital.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the Marketing & Events Officer will work closely with external media and public relations agencies to monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness. They will support the budget process, attend university recruitment and corporate events, and undertake any other reasonable duties as determined by the Director of Staffordshire University London and the Head of Recruitment and Outreach.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in student recruitment and events, with excellent organisational and time management skills. They should possess a strong understanding of the higher education sector and of UCAS. The ability to build positive relationships and provide exceptional customer service is essential for success in this role.
