The marketing function is virtually a blank canvas at the moment, so you'll receive support from the CEO and work closely with colleagues across in-store experience, branding, and visual merchandising.

The Job...
Reporting into the CEO and working closely with the Head of In-Store Experience, you'll be spearheading the development of a brand new marketing function. Everything you'll do will be geared towards driving footfall for new and existing customers to the stores across the UK, with a view to building a complete shopping experience.
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing and leading the overall marketing strategy, to maximise commercial performance, raise brand awareness and increase customer engagement with the business.
- Building and leading a team, leveraging critical leadership competencies - envisioning, enrolling, enabling, empowering, and executing across a variety of strategic and tactical marketing activities.
- Managing budgets and delivering accurate KPI forecasts against business targets.
- Driving key campaign planning, partner outreach, market positioning and branding across all affiliates.
- Carefully managing and executing tight deadlines across multiple projects.
- Working closely with the CEO and Head of Experiential Retail, Brand, and Visual Merchandising teams to develop the marketing strategy and support key business initiatives.
About You...
The Marketing Director will play a key role in helping this brand interact with its customers throughout their stores, transforming the retail experience. From a marketing point of view, this isn't just about helping them sell products, it's about creating and selling a world class shopping experience.
Here's some of the key experience you'll need to demonstrate:
- Excellent all round communication skills (verbal and written).
- Head of Marketing or Marketing Director experience in a fast paced retail environment.
- Strong data skills; you'll be comfortable using reports, dashboards and analysis of performance and forecasts, with a strong understanding of varying demographics.
- Proven experience of PR communications, TV ads, social media, mailing list/CRM development, and promoting brands.
- Excellent negotiating and influencing skills, whilst building professional, lasting relationships at all levels.
- Sound knowledge of the brand landscape for premium segments.
