The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting a multi-disciplinary team to drive the growth of our sustainable development services in the global south with a particular focus on climate and sustainability, cities planning and design and economic advisory services. New positions will form part of a network charged with building strong relations with key clients – notably multilateral and bilateral donors, private finance, and the public sector – and working with them to tackle complex challenges and to improve project and programme level outcomes.
Within this role you will be ensuring delivery of a range of marketing activities in support of strengthening our reputation in the global south and international development clients through brand building and positioning to build a pipeline of work opportunities by fostering relationships with potential and existing clients and with relevant wider stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with a range of elements of marketing content that showcases our projects, people and ideas and events by maximising the return on investment achieved from partnerships and sponsorships by influencing marketing plans in conjunction with senior marketers and the wider business.
Is this role right for you?
You will develop a marketing strategy for Arup’s Global South Portfolio and implement tactical aspects of a variety of predetermined marketing plans to build Arup’s external profile through a range of activities including:
- creation of new thought leadership-focused content, long-form content and case studies - diversifying content so that it can be repurposed and reformatted across platforms and audiences
- web-based project stories and social media content
- securing industry speaking engagements for Arup experts and co-creating content for these events
- event delivery (online and in person)
- drafting and editing articles and opinion pieces for industry publications including in the global south as well as drafting and editing award entries
