QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of the basics of strategic communication planning and execution.
- Demonstrated efficiency in social media execution focusing on Facebook Instagram, Twitter, TikTok & LinkedIn.
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks with direction.
- Excellent editing and proof-reading skills and superior attention to details.
- Demonstrated experience with print and digital media preparing informal and formal communications.
- Excellent MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with online mail, survey programs and facility to learn new ones as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, execute and measure impacts of annual communication plans
- Write content for print/digital materials for internal and external audiences including articles, presentations, brochures, advertisements, videos and items for digital displays and other communication materials as required.
- Write and edit – blogs, web copy, social media copy, etc.
- Develop and execute organic social media strategies. Focus on social media calendaring, content drafting and approvals with operations staff.
- Work with a graphic designer in development of assets that support core programs and pilots e.g.,
- Work with web developer and ensure websites are up-to-date, and that new content is uploaded in a timely fashion; proactively identify updates; assist in web refresh program.
- Promote brand awareness with digital and in person event support
- Takes a hands-on role in ensuring that all aspects of the assigned brands are managed within time and resource constraints.
- Ensuring compliance with all requirements to ensure products are ready for sale
- Developing and managing the creative aspects of all artwork regarding the assigned brands i.e. look and feel
- Responds to / addresses any concerns or questions posted on social media
- Conceptualization of tradeshow look and feel
- Ensuring websites are kept up-to-date
- Development and dissemination of province-specific assets
- Sourcing and ensuring production and delivery of season-specific / province-specific SWAG items
- Liaising with sales partners to ascertain best suited items for specific provinces
- Ensuring all image requirements (packaging and products) for the three brands are produced and submitted to provincial boards
- Management of the production process for all vanity and compliant packaging in accordance with legal guidelines
- Seeks out opportunities for collaboration that speak to the brand identity

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
