The Marketing Associate is responsible for the execution of marketing strategies and tactics and overseeing creative development according to design and brand standards. This position requires collaboration and the ability to effectively manage time toward the execution of website content, email, direct mail, newsletter, social media, collateral, and other digital or print communications. The Associate will maintain Marketing traffic flow to ensure all creative deliverables are produced to specification and all department timelines and deadlines are met.
Job Duties:
- Assists Marketing Director in the implementation of marketing strategies and tactics.
- Assists the Marketing team in content development for web, blogs, social media, landing pages, email, press releases, newsletter, and other projects as assigned.
- Works with the Marketing team to manage assets including web content, social media, collateral, digital and print ads, videos, and photography/images.
- Assists Marketing team in developing and maintaining a calendar of Marketing activities, company initiatives and community service activities.
- Works with Social Media Manager to provide content, drive traffic, increase followers, and investigate new ways to reach and engage our target audiences.
- Helps manage external design resources/vendors to oversee multiple design and development projects simultaneously.
- Works with Communication Center and other internal teams to provide Marketing materials, training and troubleshooting assistance.
- Responds to email requests from staff and website requests for information.
- Works with staff and external partners to troubleshoot website issues.
- Maintains inventory log and orders collateral material and supplies.
- Assists Director in monitoring and reporting the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related business field.
- Two to four years professional experience in either an agency or marketing department.
- Professional background in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or Public Relations.
- Digital experience, or an understanding of emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with social media.
- Desire to thrive in a collaborative, agile environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
