We’re looking to recruit a Web Marketing Assistant to join the Content and Marketing team.

When it comes to our websites, they play a crucial role in student recruitment and on-boarding, making us focus on simplifying complex product offerings and ensuring that the journeys and the solutions we find today enable business growth in the future.
Besides our obvious B2C customers (students and parents) we also work with a range of B2B customers such as education agents worldwide, sponsoring bodies (governments or companies), and school counsellors.
The role
In a typical day, you can expect a good balance of meetings with IT, Design and Content teams and hands-on execution of changes needed on our application forms and web pages. You will analyse, advise, implement and improve Kaplan Pathways’ and Kaplan Living websites alongside the rest of the Web team. This role requires a strongly creative, analytical, and hands-on approach as you will be directly involved with various teams (within Content and Marketing, Digital Product and various stakeholders).
The Web Marketing Assistant will work in a team of experienced web experts and report to the Web SEO Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Being a WordPress super-user, understanding the full abilities of WP from an editorial and administrative perspective, and helping others to improve the efficiency of publication and content management processes
- Being a Formstack and Form Assembly super-user, understanding the full abilities, responding to change requests, troubleshooting, and helping other stakeholders to create forms
- Communicating with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot web related issues and requests.
- Assisting the Web SEO Strategist with creating and maintaining analytics reports using tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Hotjar, Siteimprove, Ahrefs, etc
- Rolling out new features and products to the company websites
- Assisting implementation of the Web and SEO strategy alongside the rest of the Web team
- Owning the website administration, ensuring that all information is always up to date and accurate by working closely with content team members and product marketing
- Developing strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, namely the digital product team
- Developing, alongside the rest of the Web team strong briefs to share with the digital product team to ensure the highest quality and high-speed turnover of new projects
- Having a good working understanding of GDPR, it's impact on website management, suggest improvements and assist with implementation of related efforts

You will be good at asking the right questions to take a full, detailed brief and someone who can build rapport and trust easily. You’ll be logical and methodical in your approach to work and quick to grasp new systems, teams and ways of working.
Working to deadlines is something you’ll be used to doing. You will be charged with ensuring that deadlines are achieved, and that work completed meets Kaplan’s high degree of quality and accuracy. To get the best out of our content management system, you’ll either already know the system or be someone who can really demonstrate the determination needed to master technology tools and use them to maximum benefit. Lastly, to thrive in our team and company, you will be someone who will want to learn about the wider business.
Desirable skills:
Basic understanding of SEO principles- Basic understanding of web analytics
- Basic understanding of HTML
- Previous experience with WordPress or a similar CMS
- Previous experience with creating, updating and maintaining forms

Our working environment
Sitting in the heart of the Content and Marketing team, and working side-by-side with the Web Team, you will work within a warm, welcoming and highly ambitious team.
You will be based in our beautiful HQ in London Bridge, London, staff are expected to go to the office twice a week (mainly Tuesdays/Wednesdays).
