Job description – Marketing Assistant
In this Marketing Assistant role in London, you will be supporting the Marketing Manager with creating innovative marketing campaigns that improve product visibility and ultimately boost sales.
You will be involved in all aspects of website management, creating images, and writing compelling copy. You’ll also be responsible for managing their social media platforms, creating, and scheduling regular posts.
This role requires a willingness to learn as well as a strong sense of creativity, inventiveness, and out-of-the-box thinking. There is huge scope for upward development in this role as the team scales. Take a look at the full responsibilities below!
Key responsibilities – Marketing Assistant
In this Marketing Assistant opportunity in London, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, implementing, and optimising Meta Ads campaigns to improve product visibility and boost sales
- Regularly updating Google Search Ads keywords to improve the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
- Creating compelling media and messages to promote the products
- Responsible for uploading product information into the internal product catalogue, and ensuring this information is kept up to date
- Writing compelling product descriptions that are optimised for SEO
- Writing engaging meta descriptions for each product page to improve search engine rankings and click-through rates
- Creating and scheduling images/video/text media content and managing the existing product images, media, and message concepts across different social media platforms e.g. Facebook and Instagram
- Creating a posting plan
- Designing and executing email marketing campaigns
- Conducting regular competitive analysis to understand market trends, identifying competitive positioning, and developing strategies to differentiate the products
Job requirements – Marketing Assistant
- A 2:1 degree from university
- A keen interest in marketing and the digital world
- An internship or placement within Marketing would be ideal but not a necessity
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills
- A strong work ethic and a proactive approach
- High attention to detail
