The UK&I Marketing Team is responsible for all in-market activity across the full marketing mix building long-term brand growth and shorter-term demand generation. You'll be part of Deliveroo's restaurant marketing team and join a that creates best-in-market partnerships and activations with some of the biggest restaurant brands in the UK.
We are looking for a marketing associate to join our team to help build value for Deliveroo and our QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) Partners by managing partner relationships, developing fantastic growth opportunities and building the best campaigns and presenting analysis to inform our decisions. You will report to the Senior Restaurant Marketing Lead and be based in the London office (hybrid working model).
Main Roles and Responsibilities
You will help build mutual value for Deliveroo and its QSR restaurant partners, you will build solid relationships based on an understanding of restaurant partners' strategic goals and how this can be realised with Deliveroo. You will develop compelling marketing opportunities for QSR partners whilst collaborating with internal commercial and marketing team members to provide an understanding of our broader priorities. The Restaurant Marketing team is a centre of expertise in the business driving the strategic vision for the role Restaurant partners play in the broader marketing strategy. Within the team, there are subteams which focus on different segments: QSR, Casual Dining, and Important Accounts.
Partner Marketing & Strategy
- You will collaborate and deliver joint business plans with our important QSR Restaurant partners.
- You will collaborate with our commercial team to build customer and data-led marketing plans.
- You will work with an internal media rate card to show the 'value' of Deliveroo marketing to partners.
- You will manage brand relationships and enjoy 'pitching' marketing strategy, new ideas and plans to partners, and be able to work with partners to help grow their delivery channel with their own marketing campaigns.
- You will build important marketing plans for partners based on solid relationship management development.
- You will report on the impact of marketing campaigns for partners and team members
- You will support the Senior Marketing Manager with larger-scale activations e.g. multi-channel ATL campaigns and seasonal Deliveroo-led campaigns.
Campaign management
- You will develop campaigns following Deliveroo and our restaurant partners' goals.
- Work with the broader marketing team to ensure the right partners are featured in relevant campaigns for seasonal events across the calendar year.
- You will ensure account managers are briefed and have partners merchandising menus throughout the year.
- You will lead the relationship with Commercial Partnerships to monetise our marketing assets through FMCG partnerships
- You will work with other important teams on ideas to gain traction around important campaigns e.g. Legal, CRM, Studio, Ops, Digital, Social & PR.
- You will create seasonal post-campaign analysis to share insights with other markets, the broader marketing team and our partners
Role Profile
- Experience working in a Marketing role, you understand the media mix and have experience working across through-the-line campaigns from briefing to execution and analysis.
- Experience working in a partner/external facing role, agency side or account management
- Experience building simultaneous campaigns at once keeping complicated projects moving forward.
- You will have experience with building relationships internally and externally with partners
- You will have experience presenting and have experience building show-stopping presentations and pitching new ideas.
- Knowledge of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and data analysis is required, someone who is well-versed in using numbers and data to tell stories and build narratives would be ideal.
