Located: Hybrid working – Combination of homeworking, PCP in Newton Aycliffe and outreach in the North East
Starting salary: Starting Salary £23,635 per annum
Salary scale: Scale Points 9-11, £23,635 - £25,385 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week

Job Purpose
1. Coordinate and effectively deliver PR, marketing, and communication activity for Wellbeing for Life, online and offline, ensuring activity communicates the service’s offer and engages stakeholders across all levels.
2. Drive engagement, awareness, and access to Wellbeing for Life by planning and coordinating effective campaigns that make a difference for communities in County Durham.
3. Work in an established marketing team to line manage and support a Marketing Assistant, whilst being a brand ambassador for Wellbeing for Life, PCP and its projects and services.
4. Support PCP and its projects and services with marketing and communication activity as required, ensuring PCP’s Marketing and Communication Strategy is adhered to.
Job Description
1. Coordinate, develop and implement effective social media and digital campaigns that drive growth and recognition of Wellbeing for Life and its offer to communities.
2. Plan and coordinate written copy, imagery, and design layout for newsletters for a variety of stakeholders, with a focus on ensuring content is accessible.
3. Update and maintain Wellbeing for Life’s website, ensuring that content is informative, accessible and reflective of the service’s offer.
4. Write, proofread and distribute creative copy for various online and offline platforms, including websites, PR, newsletters and campaigns to enhance a positive and constructive image of Wellbeing for Life and PCP.
5. Explore a variety of channels and platforms to effectively plan the opportunity to promote Wellbeing for Life activities as a virtual village hall to maximize use of services
6. Develop Wellbeing for Life’s YouTube channel and undertake videography projects, including planning, filming, and editing video content on Canva (or similar software, including Adobe Premiere Pro).
7. Research marketing trends and come up with creative campaign ideas and concepts that drive recognition of Wellbeing for Life, whilst offering advice and guidance to staff from the wider Wellbeing Services regarding communication activities and best practice.
8. Support the Wellbeing for Life team at events by taking photographs and conducting live social media posting to promote opportunities and increase internal media libraries.
9. To contribute to the planning and execution of events that PCP and its projects and services hold throughout the year.
10. Produce engaging designs on Canva (or similar), including logos, marketing materials and branding that communicate the work of Wellbeing for Life.
11. Communicate and build relationships with journalists, clients and other stakeholders to create promotional opportunities.
12. Support overall marketing and engagement work, using creative techniques to gather views from the communities supported by PCP.
13. Engage in interactive discussions via Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube and other relevant social media to effectively and professionally engage with communities across the North East.
14. Gather digital analytics for social media and online, whilst actively recording accurate data to support reports and insight.
15. Assist in the completion of tasks within the agreed deadlines.
16. To undertake report writing as appropriate.
General

2. To effectively demonstrate and carry out line management role in line with the organisations core values.
3. To be responsible for the collation of appropriate monitoring and evaluation information to support the achievement of agreed targets and outcomes within the project or service.
4. To liaise with relevant teams to ensure that opportunities are maximised for service users/clients.
5. To adhere with financial processes and procedures and ensure that all resources purchased are within the allocated cost code budget(s).
6. To work to develop and apply appropriate monitoring, evaluation and quality tools in accordance with the quarterly performance monitoring procedures.
7. To ensure quality standards are developed and maintained.
8. To recruit and support volunteers as required.
9. To comply with PCP policy & procedures.
10. To monitor and maintain health and safety and security within the workplace in line with PCP policies.
11. To undertake any training and development deemed appropriate.
12. To undertake any other such duties required by your Line Manager or the Chief Executive.
