We are excited to be assisting a dynamic, and forward-thinking organisation in its search for a Marketing & Communications Officer to join their team for a 6 month period.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who can quickly integrate into the team. As a Marketing and Communications Officer, you will provide valuable support to the wider marketing team, including content and image uploads on websites and social media platforms.

Your strong initiative and coordination skills will be key assets in this role.

Please note that this is a temporary position, offering a flexible schedule of 3 days per week (24 hours), for a 6 month period.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the timely and relevant updating of websites, apps, and social media channels

Manage the bookings calendar for paid marketing activities, working alongside the digital marketing events officer and promoters/hirers

Coordinate with promoters to gather content and images for co-promotions and hirer events, providing support to the digital marketing events officer

Provide administrative assistance by monitoring marketing inboxes, taking necessary actions such as responding to emails and forwarding them to the appropriate team members

Assist in the creation of digital and physical marketing materials, including social media posts, promotional boards, website content and imagery, e-newsletters, and videos

Support marketing efforts for in-house event programs to maximise attendance and revenue generation

Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent application of the brand and style in all marketing and promotional campaigns

Skills/ Experience:
​ Experience uploading content and images to communication channels such as websites and social media

Knowledge of WordPress and CMS systems

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong writing skills, good use of grammar and language

Pro-active individual, able to work flexibly as part of a team and independently

Excellent coordination skills
