We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to join our ambitious HR and Sales team to help us drive sales and to find top talent candidates via modern & innovative marketing strategies utilizing mobile, digital, and social media. The ideal candidate will support Operations by tracking staffing requests, scheduling interviews, vetting incoming applications and resumes, following-up with candidates and managers regarding interviews, preparing selected candidates to be on-boarded and managing all our social media platforms and assist the sales department with marketing. Asphalt Specialists is a full-service paving company, T.K.M.S. and Lou’s are an aggregate commodity hauler, each with more than 27 years in business serving the Southeast Michigan area. Experience and Skills:

• A positive attitude, competitive spirit and superb customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and best practices to attract and retain top talent in the construction/trucking field
• Proficiency in marketing techniques and strategies, with a keen eye for creating impactful content that resonates with the target audience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different platforms and audiences
• Deep understanding of social platforms such as Facebook, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Self-motivated, reliable individual capable of working independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for various positions within our construction company, including, paving workers, project managers, truck drivers and more
• Manage social media platforms, ensuring consistent and engaging content is published regularly to showcase our projects, company culture, expertise
• Develop vision and priorities along with persuasive content (including written copy and creating videos) for internal and external media and communications
• Employ a variety of sourcing techniques to attract and identify skilled candidates in the construction industry, such as job boards, industry-specific platforms, networking events, and local community outreach
• Collaborate with sales managers to create new marketing techniques to increase sales and promote jobs
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop job descriptions, and conduct effective interviews to assess candidate qualifications
• Manage the candidate pipeline and provide a positive candidate experience by maintaining regular communication and timely updates throughout the recruitment process
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence and generate awareness in the construction market
• Create engaging and compelling marketing content, including website copy, social media posts, blog articles, and visual materials, to promote our services and attract potential candidates
• Willingness to travel when necessary
