About the role
As a Local Marketing and Communications Officer, you will be a skilled communicator with a passion for promoting community services. You will promote our London services across seven local authorities and be embedded in our London services. Your responsibilities will include placing stories with local newspapers, designing leaflets promoting the local service, working with communications partners in the councils we work with, attending community events, and editing videos of people's experiences.
You will be managed and supported by the national Humankind marketing and communications team and be a member of our new peer community of local communications leads, sharing ideas, feedback, and best practices to support each other.
There is an expectation of working in our regional headquarters at Cantilever Court and across our London services. However, this is a hybrid role with some opportunity to work from home, especially after the initial three months.
Please be advised interviews will take place in London on 14th June, this will be a face-to-face interview.
About you
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have a qualification in Media/Communications related subject equivalent to NVQ level 4 or equivalent experience, be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, and possess excellent copywriting and creative writing skills. You should also have strong administrative, written, and presentational skills with attention to detail.
