Role Description:
- Coordinates and participates in design, development, and implementation of large and complex enterprise-wide applications
- Work closely with network engineers, developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs.
- Manage projects including responsibility for a project and project budget
- Works under minimal supervision on enterprise-wide projects requiring creative solutions.
- Eliciting, analyzing and documenting technical application and service requirements
- Active participation in and ownership within the change management process, including raising, representing, chasing approvals, providing evidence, tracking and managing on behalf of engineers
- Managing stakeholder requirements across projects and ad-hoc consulting
- Ensuring documentation is updated to reflect new additions to or modifications in the environment and handed into Operations successfully
- Orchestrating workflow through the JIRA (Horizon) tool in order to manage resources and provide management status and progress reporting
- Anticipates and proactively resolves issues and conflicts within and between engineering delivery workflows and all other stakeholders.
- Provides regular and pro-active status as well as anticipating issues and reporting them to management. Escalates as needed or as appropriate
The Team:
The Network Solutions Engineering team within Bank of America provide end-to-end network and security infrastructure solutions for internal clients, lines of business and external 3rd parties. Covering the EMEA region, the RDM will be joining a wide team spread across multiple UK sites, and be responsible for working with stakeholders to deliver connectivity that balances business, security, availability and resiliency requirements across a broad spectrum of network technologies and serves as a focal point for the Management and reporting on the delivery of these services”
We are willing to consider internal candidates with a technology background who don’t have experience in network technologies and will provide the necessary skills training should they be successful in their application.
