You'll be our product brand expert, ensuring that the Aldi personality is always unique, powerful and consistent in the marketplace.

Managing a team of Marketing & Communications Assistants, you'll oversee all our product advertising, marketing and PR processes and systems. It's about strategy – advising the business, managing projects and working with independent experts. In this fast-paced role, you'll take on far more responsibility and autonomy than you'd expect elsewhere. That means you need to stay calm under pressure and produce results. But it's also somewhere you have more scope to influence the business. Just the way you like it.

We now have a fantastic opportunity available for an Internal Communications Manager to join our team at the Aldi Head Office in Atherstone. The position is a fixed term contract to cover a 12-month period.


Working collaboratively with Buying, eCommerce, HR and various other project teams you will be responsible for communicating messages, projects and initiatives to our colleagues in the UK and Ireland.

Your New Role


  • Continual development of MyALDI, the Everyday Amazing events and other communication channels
  • Liaising with various business stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient information flow
  • Management of a team of Communication Assistants
  • Monitoring and controlling adherence to all deadlines
  • Recommending changes, processes and new systems to the Communications Director
  • Acting as the liaison between National Buying and external agencies
  • Supervising the creation of internal videos, from script writing, to filming and managing creative agencies


About You


  • Proven ability in planning, organising and project management
  • Confident communicator with good presenting skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with a transparent approach to working
  • Engaging and able to collaborate and bring colleagues on board with new initiatives
  • Highly organised with an excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to investigate, analyse and challenge appropriately
  • Able to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a wider team
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and able to use your initiative
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent budget management
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Salary from £58,715 rising to £90,615
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with the opportunity of 2 days remote working
