Providing invaluable support to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll help ensure the Aldi personality is always unique, powerful and consistent in the marketplace.

Aldi are looking to recruit an Email Marketing Assistant to drive revenue and store footfall across Click and Collect groceries, online Specialbuys and stores.
Working as part of the National Buying team, you will be responsible for maximising the value of our existing customer base, while at the same time showcasing the potential of database marketing to senior stakeholders.

Your New Role:
- Overall management of the Aldi UK email marketing calendar
- Analysing customer data to create segments that will deliver a personalised experience for our customers
- Working with the creative agency to develop innovative email creative
- Development of the annual email test and learn calendar
- Agency management to produce email marketing creative on time and to a high calibre
- Strong understanding of the email KPIs and how to continually develop and improve KPIs based on business objectives
- Weekly and monthly reporting and analysis creating insight that drives change
- Copywriting for app push notifications
About You:
- A-Levels or equivalent
- Previous experience in managing a high-volume email calendar in a retail environment
- Strong experience of email marketing best practice
- Strong stakeholder management and agency management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A good working knowledge of the Adobe stack (Target, Campaign & Analytics) would be advantageous
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS is desirable
- Excellent presentation, reporting and project management skills
- Strong written and spoken communication skills. Must be detail orientated, deadline driven and able to multi-task.
- Advanced Excel Skills and proficient in Microsoft Word/Outlook

- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
