Growth
The Growth team is responsible for defining and driving the execution of Planet’s Growth and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies. Within our team, we combine Go-To-Market strategy, Marketing, Inside Sales, Pre-Sales Consulting, and Revenue Operations to grow Planet’s business and expand into new markets and customer segments. From top-level strategy to operational excellence and execution. We design end-to-end customer acquisition journeys and drive high-impact Go-To-Market motions at scale. We are natural team players, partnering closely with the Hospitality, Retail, and Partner teams, Product, Operations, and many others. We play to win and always put the customer first.
What you will do:
Working with the marketing team and serving both internal and external audiences within the payments and software ecosystem. As a member of the Planet marketing team, you will work with the broader sales and marketing team by supporting campaigns and processes that deliver a sales pipeline to help the commercial team at Planet reach their targets.
Aligned with this, and in collaboration with the wider marketing team you will support Planet’s market presence and positioning supporting campaign execution, events, and webinars. While the role will bring pivots, agile thinking and plenty of variation, it is split across the following key areas:
- Content – High quality content is the engine of our lead generation activities. This role requires you to produce clear and effective marketing copy such as landing pages and emails or any copy that helps promote our products and services through campaigns.
- Lead generation & Cross-sell campaigns – working with the broader marketing team and key stakeholders to help implement Planet’s marketing Campaigns which are designed to drive the delivery of quality leads to the business. This will be a combination of online and offline tactical actions.
- Events + Webinars – Support with the planning, implementation and reporting on Events that drive new business development, retention, and lead generation. These include and are not limited to Webinars, tradeshows and company and industry events.
- Reporting – Support with analysis of pipeline and lead data, helping the team to deliver periodic reporting to the sales and marketing teams providing key business insights: typical reporting relates to Lead Generation, Pipeline, Conversion Rates (New Business and Cross-sell).
Who You Are:
- A minimum of 1 year of marketing experience.
- Strong verbal and written English skills, including copywriting and articulating marketing messaging to a target audience.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office and quick to pick up new skills and technologies.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and collaborate with colleagues across the business.
- Commercially minded, driven by delivering results, and passionate about supporting business growth.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
- Motivation to work in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
- Experience using CRMs and a CMS - Drupal, Salesforce, and Pardot preferred but not essential.
- A degree in marketing is desirable.
- Experience with events planning and webinar execution is desirable.
