Overview:
To provide a broad range of support to the Marketing & Business Development team in delivering day to day activities, projects and campaigns. On successful completion of the course, you will be awarded with a Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship and will be offered an affiliate membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Responsibilities:

What you'll be doing as Marketing & Business Development Apprentice:

You'll be supporting the entire team on:
  • Events, both online and in-person, and client hospitality
  • The delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including planning, implementation and evaluation
  • The operation of our digital marketing, including website and social media posting and reporting
  • Content creation, including written (for both online and offline), video and podcasts
  • Basic layout work in InDesign and the creation of emails and invitations in our emarketing system
  • Supporting the BD activity of the firm by maintaining good reporting relating to all BD activity, such as client listening, marketing activities and keeping contact information updated.
Specific tasks will include:
  • Managing our promotional materials
  • Working with our photographer(s) to organise shoots and post-production work
  • Event administration
  • Ensuring we manage tasks relating to starters & leavers (website CVs, contact management etc)
  • Managing the M&BD Inbox, passing requests for support to the right person in the team.
  • Working with our Digital & Content Executive to maintain our website using Siteimprove
  • Basic web and social posting
  • Creating email signatures
  • Support on video and podcast production
  • Basic InDesign work, including amends, invites
  • Client hospitality
Qualifications:

What we are looking for:

Someone who's excited by the opportunity to work in a fast-moving environment and in a really varied role, where you may be working on multiple tasks, supporting various members, all at the same time.

You’ll need to be proficient in various basic applications, particularly MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint, and your written English must be of a high standard.

We host many internal and external events (both on and offsite), so we need someone excited to help run these with the wider marketing team.

Entry Requirements:
  • You need to have your Maths and English GCSEs or Standard (Scotland) at 9-4 (A-C) or equivalent
  • You will need A Levels, a relevant Level 3 Apprenticeship or other relevant qualifications
  • You must be 18 or above by the start of the course (June/July time)
