Position Summary:
The Email Strategist is a vital role responsible for the execution, analysis, and reporting of the email marketing activities. This position requires expertise in executing all aspects of the email marketing sales process and the ability to exceed performance metrics as well as revenue goals.

Essential Functions:*
- Assumes all responsibility for management and execution of email marketing program for all North American websites.
- Implement plans for identified business opportunities for the email program, CRM strategy, and analytics.
- Execute the planning and coordination of CRM strategy and analytics to advance business goals, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop short and long-term goals for the email program and CRM strategy.
- Coordinate the flow of data across the team to ensure that campaigns are effective.
- Research, identify, test, and drive successful adoption of proven best practices for email program and eCRM.
- Create and execute a plan to segment customers based on buying behavior, website behavior, and other segments and market to them accordingly.
- Create, update, and communicate the promotional calendar to the organization.
- Tracks metrics and sends out regular reports to executive team and stakeholders on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Assists in the experience development portion of the customer lifecycle for website personalization.
- Offer assistance and guidance on international email programs.
- Forecast and track budget for all email and CRM-related activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements*
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in either Marketing or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience and education.
- Strong focus on ROI and results with email, websites, and internet marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency in working with an email service provider (background in eCommerce a plus).
- HTML/CSS knowledge required with experience performing various email tests and evaluating results.
- Experience developing an email marketing strategy either in-house or with an agency.
- Graphic design experience a plus.
- eCommerce email marketing experience and knowledge with a focus on graphic design, content management systems, and social marketing.
- The preferred candidate will have experience resolving customer issues in the digital medium and understand how to communicate in a persistent communication medium.
- Strong focus on ROI and results with websites and internet marketing initiatives.
- Email Testing Certification.
