Moog Industrial is looking for a Marketing Manager to join the global marketing team. Our group specializes in high-performance motion control products and solutions for a variety of industrial applications including plastics, metal forming, power generation, flight simulation, automotive and aerospace testing, oil and gas exploration, wind energy, plus many others.
As Marketing Manager, you will report to the Industrial Group Marketing Director and will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, New York. Your primary responsibilities are to lead a versatile marketing team and help develop and execute marketing strategy for growth programs defined by management. This is a dual role where you will actively support your local site with marketing services, but also be a contributing member of the global marketing team.
As Marketing Manager, you will:
- Own the commercialization of assigned products and services at the global and regional level (incl. localization to reflect the specific local market conditions). The scope may include: conducting market analysis, competitive intelligence and VoC, design and implement product launches, design Go-to-Market strategy;
- Support new business opportunities globally and regionally through collaboration with subject matter experts in Sales, Engineering, and New Business Development;
- Develop, deploy, and track marketing strategies at the regional level to support the X-matrix of key initiatives;
- Serve as the local liaison between the global marketing organization and the local site management for business and marketing strategy;
- Actively contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the global marketing organization to increase efficiency and productivity;
- Mentor and lead the local marketing team;
- Manage external global vendors and agencies;
- Manage the regional marketing budget
To be considered for Marketing Manager, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering or related discipline;
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in English;
- Minimum five years in the field of Marketing or Product Management in a technical or B2B environment;
- Experience leading a team;
- Demonstrated leadership in strategy development in a technical and B2B environment;
- Experience collaborating with a diverse, interdisciplinary, multinational team working in different time zones, with different cultural backgrounds, when English is the second language for many of them;
- Experience of successful project management of internationally distributed teams;
- Industry insights into motion control and industrial automation in Power Generation, Oil & Gas, and Simulation & Test market and solid knowledge in relevant products (e.g. valves, controllers) and technology
