Our office is in the heart of Beverly Hills, CA near shops and restaurants. The building was designed by world-renown architect I.M. Pei — there's plenty of natural light, open space with a co-working vibe, an in-building gym, calming yoga and meditation studio and an indoor tree spanning 3 floors. Our HQ is not too far from our production facility in Montebello, CA where we operate the largest, most technologically advanced cutting facility in the western hemisphere.
Job Summary:
As the Head of Marketing at BELLA+CANVAS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's marketing strategies and driving our brand's growth. We are seeking a creative thinker and an innovative problem solver who can challenge conventional approaches and bring fresh perspectives to our marketing initiatives. Your ability to think differently will be instrumental in differentiating BELLA+CANVAS from competitors and driving our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans: Collaborate closely with the executive team to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with BELLA+CANVAS's vision and values. Emphasize differentiation and innovative approaches to set our brand apart.
- Brand management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the BELLA+CANVAS brand, ensuring that our "Be different" motto is integrated into all marketing efforts. Consistently reinforce our unique value proposition and encourage unconventional thinking within the marketing team.
- Digital marketing: Lead and innovate in our digital marketing initiatives, leveraging social media, content marketing, SEO, email marketing, and influencer partnerships to reach and engage target audiences. Seek out new and disruptive ways to capture attention and drive customer acquisition.
- Marketing communications: Develop and execute integrated marketing communications plans that communicate our "Be different" message effectively. Craft compelling and creative messaging across various channels to captivate and inspire our audience.
- Market research and analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for differentiation. Utilize data and analytics to inform marketing strategies and make informed decisions that challenge traditional approaches.
- Team management: Lead a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovative thinking, creativity, and continuous improvement. Encourage diverse perspectives and create an environment where unconventional ideas are welcomed and explored.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, design, and product development, to align marketing efforts with business objectives. Champion innovative ideas and drive cross-functional initiatives that challenge industry norms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience (15+ years) in marketing management, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry.
- Knowledge of wholesale apparel, brand start-up or screen printing industry a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, SEO, email marketing, and influencer marketing.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that challenge conventional norms.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with a strong eye for design and aesthetics.
- Knowledge of sustainability and eco-friendly practices in the apparel industry is a plus.

The Base Salary Range for this position is $175,000 - $215,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the Company's total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
