- To represent internally and externally, the adidas brand in the world of Paralympic sport for the UK. To manage with excellence our partnership with the British Paralympic Association delivering the best product for the Summer and Winter Games, and to drive the activation and fulfilment of our contractual rights to position adidas as being the most innovative and inspirational brand to the creator athlete
- To represent adidas professionally and diligently across all relevant functions of the BPA including Client Services, Games Services, Marketing, and with all relevant contacts across the Summer/Winter Paralympic National Governing Bodies, and with the Paralympic sponsor family
- To work closely with the adidas Global Olympic BU, the SMSU and the relevant third-party suppliers to provide a best in class kit delivery to the BPA, whilst supporting where necessary with the BOA across the calendar of Games and Festivals.
- To provide a kit package that is fit for purpose for the BPA; covering the various competition and non-competition needs, remaining IPC and IF compliant, delivered on time and in full, and within the contractual budget
- Build strong working relationships with the Sports Marketing Specialist(s) supporting Olympics and Paralympics and external contacts ensuring that the specific needs of our sports marketing contracts are met
- To support on the reporting of budget led by the Senior Manager across multiple years and multiple Games, working closely with the Finance function
- Collaborate cross functionally utilizing current and new Paralympic GB contractual rights to support the business in achieving brand and commercial goals in relevant categories, all the while ensuring our existing rights are consistently fulfilled and respected.
- To assist the Senior Manager in coordinating the design and delivery of a high profile kit launch PR moment with Newsroom and Brand Communication teams
- To support with the design, build, management, and operation of a kitting out facility and activation for each Summer and Winter Games
- Be onsite at the Paralympic Summer Games in Paris to support the BPA, ensuring all product needs are catered for, and that the BPA and their athletes are compliant and free from infringements. Lead with support from Senior Manager on the coordination of Games time activations with athletes
- Maintain and fluidly manage the current Paralympic athlete and partner portfolio, aligned with Global and local stakeholders, to achieve the category brand objectives.
- Identify, secure and contract athletes and partners in keeping with the CAF process, integrated with Brand Communications, Newsroom and other internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of activation.
- Service athletes with correct and timely product and relationship needs
- Review portfolio each half year to ensure it meets the KPI’s benchmarked against latest sports marketing activity in market
- With the support of the Senior Manager, manage all Paralympic athlete and partner budgets; Retainers (including GBP and local bonuses) Gift of Kit, Activation and Travel & Expenses
- Own and deliver all operational elements of activation projects linked to Para GB and support the Brand Activation function on all creative elements of the projects
