Job description

769 million – the number of patients our medicines reach globally. The Marketing Assistant supports the actions of marketing and/or be part of the Brand Team that designs the strategic plan of Marketing.

Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the actions of marketing and/or be part of the Brand Team that designs the strategic plan of Marketing
  • Support to achieve the sales target by delivering strategies and managing products according to the product life cycle.
  • Support budget planning process for responsible product -Implement, review and ensure the product plans are in line with SOP of marketing
  • Monitor and control product performance and adjust plans accordingly
  • Anticipate future trends in disease management and market environment which is likely to affect the performance and potential of the products
  • Training and build up of strong Field Force team to deliver key messages
  • Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt
  • Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable )

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Operations Management and Execution Project Management
  • Educated to degree level in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing or similar
  • Experience within UK healthcare and pharmaceuticals or marketing environment is an advantage but not necessary
  • Must have a clear motivation and ambition to gain experience in a commercial environment
  • You will be able to evidence skills transferrable to the business environment (e.g. good time management) and experience of successfully working with teams through work, academic and/or extracurricular activities
