MARKETING ASSISTANT

Created in 2013, USAsports has continued to grow, moving from strength to strength. In 2023, the business moved out of its Wallsend warehouse and into new office and warehouse accommodations in North Shields—back to our roots. The new units provide a platform for further growth and an environment for our staff to be creative and play a key role in helping the business continue its growth journey. In 2013, C.E.O. Jaimie Longmuir was the only employee of the business, performing all roles including marketing, buying, events, and dispatching from a spare bedroom and shed. We now employ brilliantly talented permanent staff members as well as temporary event staff, and we continue to grow our team as the business grows.

As an employee with USAsports you will be expected to live these values and keep them at the forefront of everything you do within the organisation. As a Marketing Assistant, you will become a crucial member of the team and the day-to-day functioning of the organisation.
JOB ROLES
As a Marketing Assistant, your job role will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Create engaging and relevant content for both social media and web site that will be relevant to target demographic
- Engage with target demographic on social media.
- Support with creating new strategic marketing partnerships.
- Managing and maintaining current marketing partnerships.
- Creating and maintaining customer loyalty strategy.
- Supporting our brand ambassador strategy.
- Support Third Party Platform Sales through product development, product building and listing optimisations.
- Support our in-store branding and marketing strategy.
- Optimise Web Site for Product Campaigns and Product Launches.
- Liaise with strategic partners on product launches and branding assets
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
We are looking for an individual who mirrors our core values and passion for American Sports.
The ideal candidate will come onboard and support us, but also bring fresh ideas, creativity, and inspiration to the table.
The following experience would be preferable:
- Managing social media accounts
- Producing written content
- Digital design
- Videography
