Role

This role is an entry-level Finance role, with the opportunity for development if that’s of interest to the individual. The initial main responsibilities will be assisting with the monthly customer invoicing through aBILLity and running a credit control process (contacting customers for debt collection, processing payments, processing customer accounts for cancellation, writing off bad debt).

Study support can be provided if the candidate wants to take this route for developing a career in Finance, and details will be given during interview stage.

Responsibilities

Support Management

· Assisting the Commercial Billing Manager with the monthly aBILLity customer invoice processing

· Contacting customers via email and telephone to chase outstanding balances.

· Processing customer payments

· Checking the status of the customer entities on Companies House (i.e. active, in administration).

· Liaising with Customer Support/Commercial Billing Manager to cancel customer accounts or suspend services where necessary.

· Writing off bad debt and closing customer accounts within Netsuite (our accounting system).

· Providing regular progress updates to the Financial Controller

· Good computer skills with the ability to quickly learn multiple new systems.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.

· Able to adapt, prioritise and be flexible with changing tasks throughout the day.

· Can-do, proactive, and positive attitude.

· Reliable, honest and with a good work ethic.

· Finance qualifications (AAT etc.) not required.

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
