Job description
A new opportunity has arisen within Transact’s Marketing team for a marketing assistant. This entry-level marketing role will allow for wide exposure across a variety of areas, supporting a small team of specialists. There will be opportunities for further study and some expansion in responsibilities once the candidate becomes established within the role.
The Role
The Marketing Team are very much at the heart of the business and provide marketing communications to promote the Transact service to financial advisers and inform our customers of any updates or changes. You will play a key role in assisting the team in the production of these marketing communications.
Responsibilities include:
- To maintain and update records of our literature suite and online equivalent
- To maintain the register of all documents within the organisation
- To review Transact Online content and document copy for accuracy and clarity
- To provide the Sales function with updates to the appropriate support materials
- To support Marketing in the development and delivery of internal and external communications for new product launches and service developments.
- Update websites with content and develop pages using Wordpress.
- To develop content to promote Transact through use of social media; using Twitter and Linkedin and post using Hootsuite following review by the Head of Marketing
- Ensure that the Financial Promotion process is adhered to.
- Provide support to complete additional tasks and project work as needed e.g. pricing comparisons with Transact competitors
Person Specification
In order to be considered for this position you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to demonstrate an interest in marketing. Strong attention to detail as well as solid team working skills are crucial for this role. The successful candidate will hold either a relevant degree or have 1-2 years marketing experience. This is a great opportunity for a graduate looking to kick start their career within marketing in a FTSE 250 financial services organisation.
