The opportunity:
This role is perfect for someone who is eager to work within a horticultural & lifestyle brand and develop key marketing skills. This is a new role which will offer the opportunity to impact and develop all aspects of Marketing across our business including, website, web shop, social media, instore promotions, email marketing campaigns and management of pay per click advertising.
You should be keen to work in a fast-paced environment, with great time management skills in order to manage your workload effectively. This role is ideal for a graduate, with previous marketing experience.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Take control of our Email marketing
- Track and update our SEO and assist with our online branding.
- Have a basic knowledge of Wordpress and web design. This will be necessary in order to improve our SEO and the integration of our Mailchimp Email marketing with our website.
- Set up and optimise our Google Adwords campaigns
- Generate content and develop social media strategy
- Generate new marketing ideas
- Develop new marketing streams
- Develop marketing content
- Develop the annual marketing Calendar
- Develop brand guidelines and ensure they are adhered to across all aspects of the business
- Ensure consistent branding of instore messaging across the business
- Identify, develop and implement product promotions
- Work with external parties to continue to evolve our Web shop.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role within the industry is beneficial
- Relevant degree or experience in digital marketing channels
- Experience working with resources such as Google analytics / Facebook Business Manager is a plus
- A passion for all things digital and marketing
- A keen interest in E-Commerce
- Strong, energetic character and can-do attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Analytical and good numeracy skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to work with initiative and to work well as part of a team under pressure
- Good presentation and Microsoft Excel skills
- Willingness to learn and ability to pick up new skills quickly
