About the Role

You will support the delivery of marketing campaigns to promote our products, services, membership and brand, with a strong focus on digital channels.

You will work across our beneficiary marketing activity to ensure a planned and coordinated approach is taken across channels, and that marketing activity is delivered to a high quality in a timely manner, in line with marketing best practice, our brand and tone of voice. You will spend roughly 50% of your time supporting our email marketing delivery, working with a busy email marketing calendar, helping identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and performing quality control on email sends. You will spend the remainder of your time supporting marketing campaign planning and delivery across a range of products and channels, working with our experts in search marketing and social media as well as email, and responding to or filtering queries received to our social media inboxes.

You will need to be flexible in your approach, able to play different roles on different projects – for instance, drawing together numbers to monitor campaign results, negotiating deadlines and content with stakeholders, and applying attention to detail to ensure campaigns are accurate. While this post is focused on our marketing to beneficiaries, there will also be the opportunity to get involved with fundraising campaigns if this is an area of interest to you.

This post would suit someone keen to build their marketing skills in a busy and high-performing team, gaining experience with a range of channels and propositions. The National Deaf Children’s Society is undergoing an agile transformation and training on agile values and principles will be offered as well as development opportunities related to marketing as a discipline.
