About the role
As we grow our business, we are on the look out for a Senior Project Manager to come and join our Operations Team. Overseeing multiple projects around the UK you will be the primary point of contact internally and externally. You will be focus on large complex projects ensuring effective communication is maintained with all stakeholders throughout the project life cycle from award to completion.
We need someone who is a self-starter with project management experience within the electrical industry who challenges what we do on a daily basis and thrives working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines helping us build for the future - Could that be you?
Key responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
- Define and embed project control and governance.
- Design and maintain accurate and current programs of work for the projects they deliver.
- Provide Project planning, Milestone management, Scope management, Resource forecasting; Financial Management; Change Management across the project portfolio.
- Provide routine updates and reports at an operational and commercial level.
- Oversee project costs and ensure finances are well managed.
- Support the Commercial team with project feedback, recommendations and lessons learned.
- Deliver projects sustainably in consideration of competence, capability and safety.
- Attend site when necessary to troubleshoot or monitor qualit.y
- Conduct audits.
- Maximise profitability for the business at all times, considering innovative or better practices to deliver project efficiency wherever it is possible to do so.
- Ensure cross-programme dependencies are managed and the dependency log is accurately maintained.
- Ensure efficient change control methods and processes are utilised.
- Based out of our HQ in Swindon, supported with hybrid working, getting together at least once a week on site/via Teams and twice a month face to face in HQ - w e work with you to get the balance right.
- Permanent, full time position working 40 hours a week.
- Car allowance and following completion of a probationary period the option to sign up to our EV car scheme.
