About the role:
Are you an aspiring marketing assistant interested in photography and the arts? If you're a hardworking, well-organised individual with excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
As our Marketing Assistant, you will work alongside our Marketing Manager to support the day-to-day administration of our marketing efforts. You'll be responsible for updating company records, collecting and analysing data, scheduling social media posts, and monitoring their effectiveness through reporting, amongst other clerical duties.
We're looking for a conscientious individual with solid communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. While previous experience in digital content creation and marketing within the arts would be advantageous, formal qualifications in marketing are not essential. Key responsibilities:
- Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities - including data collection and analysis.
- Supporting the Marketing Manager in organising projects.
- Accurately uploading information to the company website.
- Scheduling and monitoring social media channels.
- Liaising with clients when necessary, although this is not a client-facing role.
- Other duties as required.
Skills, Attributes, and Qualifications:
Essential:
- A keen interest in visual arts, with an emphasis on photography.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Confident using technology.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Desire to learn.
