Conference Aston is growing their community and have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join the busy conference hotel in Birmingham City Centre, in a newly created Marketing Assistant Apprenticeship Level 3 role.
Following a successful post-pandemic recovery, the hotel and conference centre are developing a number of marketing and communications initiatives across web, social, exhibitions and networking, and many more. This brings an exciting opportunity for the hotel to welcome an apprenticeship position to the commercial team, to work across many and varied marketing tasks, whilst enhancing their learning and development as part of their studies.
The hotel operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Aston University, with a large meeting and event business dealing with business to business marketing and communications, in conjunction with a successful hotel operation with growing business to consumer marketing.
The role will enable the apprentice to experience the full marketing mix within a commercial hotel, conferencing, hospitality and events environment. Marketing activities span a varied and diverse customer base over multiple industry sectors, and the candidate will also experience working with the nominated design agency, public relations agency, web agency, SEO agency, brand agency and social media agency.
