Marketing Content Manager
The Marketing Content Manager will support the marketing department and the overall business and be responsible for the development and implementation of SUSHISAMBA and Duck & Waffle brands content strategy in addition to writing, editing, maintaining and amplifying all content across our channels. The Marketing Content Manager will be an excellent creative writer and communicator as well as possess analytical mindset to help increase web traffic, utilize data and drive brand awareness to help reach the company's objectives. This will require a thorough understanding of our business and marketing strategy, strong writing skills, good communication and coordination with marketing, operations, sales, agencies, and local partners. The ability to project manage and problem solve in a fast-paced environment is a must.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Develop & implement an impactful long-term and short-term content strategy across all channels that strengthens our brand positioning and drives covers to the restaurants.
● Write, edit, proofread and produce high-quality brand content that reflects the spirit and integrity of the brand; including press releases, email marketing, event kits, investor presentations, web copy, menus, monthly reports among others.
● Maintain a consistent brand voice and positioning throughout all marketing communications and materials.
● Assist in the development of marketing & social media calendar.
● Work closely with social media, marketing, graphics, web developers & sales teams to develop engaging and creative content for the OBM brands.
● Drive traffic and engagement that translates to increase in covers, sales and brand promotion.
● Measure the results of marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns - evaluate and maximize our content marketing effectiveness over time.
● Continuously monitor and improve content performance; optimize content for search using best SEO practices, create monthly reports leveraging Google Analytics, and other social media and digital analytics tools.
● Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, key competitors and customer needs in order to build a more effective editorial/content calendar & stand out from the competition.
● Create and execute content distribution strategies across owned, paid and earned channels to expand reach and drive traffic.
● Manage content marketing budget.

● Ability to drive content strategy and writing high-quality content for all channels– with metrics to prove results

● Capable of translating consumer and cultural research/data, business objectives and diverse perspectives into actionable creative strategies and breakthrough creative ideas.
● Ability to interpret data and provide relevant conclusions/recommendations; comfortable with flexibility and change (will experiment, modify, and iterate based on lessons learned)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
● Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, Marketing, or related field of study
● 5+ years’ managing and executing content strategies, or comparable experience in journalism, blogging, advertising.
● Expertise in SEO and proven success executing SEO driven content to increase traffic
● Experience developing & executing content for digital channels
● Understanding of marketing metrics/KPIs
● Experience with content management systems and blogging tools
● Strong copywriting and copyediting skills
● Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management & planning skills
● Can-do attitude regardless of deadlines and occasional ambiguity + a growth-mindset
● Must be eligible to work in U.K
● Some travel and work remotely on the U.S. schedule required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £50,000.00 per year
