Darlington’s Head of Steam railway museum is currently undergoing a £35m redevelopment prior to reopening in June 2024 as a major visitor attraction, Darlington Rail Heritage Quarter (DRHQ), which will play a central role in the 2025 bicentenary celebrations of the Stockton & Darlington Railway. Darlington Borough Council is seeking an exceptionally organised and creative candidate with skills across the marketing and communications mix including the ability to create engaging written and video content that reflects the DRHQ brand values. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be an integral part of the core team at this exciting time and will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the direction and perception of DRHQ.
