Marketing and Communications Officer
Salary: NJC scale 6 point 19 – 22 (£27,852-£29,439 per annum)
Hours: 36 per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Oldham locality office/homeworking (hybrid)
The Role
The Marketing and Communications Officer will be tasked with communicating with a wide range of audiences to share relevant activities and services from Action Together, and to provide a platform to showcase the work of the sector. The post holder will work alongside the wider staff team to promote our services, demonstrate our work, and ensure consistency and clarity in our communications.
We use our communications to support local and national campaigns, demonstrate our impact, and celebrate the work of the VCFSE sector in Oldham, Rochdale, and Tameside. A key part of the role is making our work understandable to a variety of audiences.
The role holder will also be responsible for internal communications, using internal channels to share updates and campaigns with staff, ensuring consistent communications from staff, and supporting staff to become strong communicators of their work.
