Transforming Lives Through Excellent Education

London Met is an extraordinary institution. Equity and social inclusion have
always been our driving principles, and it's what makes the University so
unique. Our organisation is distinctive, both in its eclectic and diverse
community of students and staff, and also for its historical role in serving
some of London's most deprived boroughs. Everything we do is
underpinned by our philosophy that an individual should have the
opportunity to transform their life through the power of education.

Equipping our students with the tools for their future is at the heart of our
academic offering. We pride ourselves on providing our students with
access to a wealth of opportunities and professions. Our graduates benefit
personally, but also contribute their unique perspectives to society, culture,
public service and the economy in all areas of London, the UK and around
the world.
Within the Marketing and Communications directorate, we deliver a voice
for the institution that is representative of our values, is proactive
in its celebration of our diversity and proud in championing our
inspirational successes. Our remit is rooted in student recruitment but
with a commitment to amplifying the London Met brand and promoting the
University on a local, national and global scale. With our sector
leading Race Equity Strategic Plan (https://www.londonmet.ac.uk/about/ou
r-university/university-publications/race-equity-strategic-plan/), we're also
committed to creating a workplace that mirrors that
of our diverse student body. We particularly welcome applications from
candidates of underrepresented groups.

ABOUT THE POST

We're looking for an enthusiastic and digitally-focused Marketing and
Campaigns Officer to lead on the development and delivery of marketing
campaigns for UK and international audiences.

This exciting role within our Marketing and Communications directorate
will help identify and capitalise on opportunities to increase student
recruitment, with particular focus on the international market and on
increasing attendance at events.

As a lead content creator, the Marketing and Campaigns Officer (Events
and International) will be responsible for producing and managing
high-quality written and other multimedia content for a wide range of
platforms, taking projects from inception right through to completion.

The successful candidate will be a strong writer and communicator. They
will manage the University's recruitment event listings, report on
website and campaign analytics and ensure content is continually
developed to stay up to date with the latest digital trends.

As an individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to
build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, the post holder
will be a key liaison for the University's UK and International
Recruitment teams, advising them on marketing opportunities and
ensuring
high levels of customer service.
