BAT GTR IS LOOKING FOR A MARKETING ACTIVATION EXECUTIVE
LEVEL: Junior Management Level
FUNCTION: Marketing
SALARY RANGE: Competitive salary
LOCATION: Chiswick, London - 2 days per week in office mandatory
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

BAT Global Travel Retail is the business unit focusing on growing BAT brands in Duty Free sector globally, across different channels such as airports, border shops, ferries & cruise lines. BAT GTR is truly diverse team with more than 100 people, coming from more than 50 countries. We are looking for a high-performing marketeer to join Activation team in our London office.
Reports to: Activation Manager
Reporting Level: Individual contributor
Geographical scope: Global/Europe focus
Travel: Monthly travel required within Europe, valid passport required
PROJECT MANAGEMENT SCOPE OF ROLE:
Diverse projects scope involving physical furniture & POSM activation in key strategic locations- Leading merchandising initiatives, furniture build & POSM creation
Managing brand ambassadors in key starteic locations, training
- Ongoing internal communication, cross-functional and cross-functional collaboration to ensure each project meets set business and brand requirements
- Partner with Brand & Legal teams to ensure developments adhere to company policies and guidelines
- Initiate and lead project management process – for responsible scope, from planning, initiating brief, to handoff to suppliers, monitoring performance and go live
- Regular travel to European airports to manage & monitor activations & audit POSM
- Deliver assignments end-to-end, on-time and in-line with agreed strategies and processes
- Manage external suppliers and build a trusted and long-term partner network
- Budget management, tracking and monthly reporting
- Inventory management
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
College/University degree.- 2+ years of relevant work experience brand marketing / project management within faced paced environment.
- Experience in project management & managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Possesses agile mindset, combination of creative and analytical skills.
- Experience of agency management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work and build relationships with a range of partners, stakeholders and external contractors.
- Energetic, resilient, self-motivated, result-driven, highly adaptable, and able to work
independently.
