Kingsgate School is an independent special school for children aged 7 to 16 who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties, and associated complex needs.
We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join the team.

A Teaching Assistant role at Kingsgate School is varied and rewarding. Our exciting curriculum is delivered by our enthusiastic team and you will work closely with teaching staff to meet the individual needs of our cohort and support learning within the classroom, on a one to one and within a group setting. You will have the chance to directly impact our students learning experience and respond to their individual needs.
Teaching Assistant requirements:
Knowledge of a range of learning support needs
Understanding of SEN/SEMH and behaviour management
Establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.
Undertake structured and agreed learning activities / teaching programmes, adjusting activities according to pupil responses.
