Job Introduction
We're looking for a Market Research Analyst (known internally as Member Voice Analyst) to join our Member Experience and Insight team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role will be the voice of our global members, accurately interpreting research to highlight member needs, wants and satisfaction with MPS.
As part of our Member Experience team, you'll help to lead the business in the bringing together and analysis of a range of member and market research sources to help address business objectives and achieve the best business decisions for our membership.
Role Responsibility
- In collaboration with other team members champion the Member Experience and Insight team (MX&I) so that we are recognised as representing the voice of the member and considered first as experts on member and market trends / the go-to place for such information
- Collaborate with the MX&I team members to utilise data and research findings that help deliver growth and other business objectives
- Help to develop insight led decision making capability across the organisation by provision of accurate and engaging research, analysis and reporting
- Produce reporting on member and market needs, wants and satisfaction for key stakeholders including Exec and Senior Leaders and ensure appropriate and effective communication channels are utilised
- Develop self-service reporting for key stakeholders to review research findings and monitor changes in member satisfaction
- Work with our external agencies to conduct primary market research that informs market and member needs, wants and experience with MPS and our competitors
- Get involved in the use, management and development of our member panel
The Ideal Candidate
As you'll be actively managing multiple concurrent projects and tasks, you'll have strong project management/coordination skills in order to produce timelines and critical paths, ensuring things are on track to meet deadlines.
Your technical ability will lie in both qualitative and particularly quantitative research and knowing when best to apply one or the other. Naturally you'll have good analysis and reporting skills and be able to translate facts, figures and technical information into effective and clear business wide communications.
This role will involve working with a variety of stakeholders all with their own thoughts and ideas, so you'll be confident influencing and guiding them on what realistically can and can't be done, steering ways of thinking and encouraging them to consider alternatives.
Perhaps you're an experienced researcher/analyst currently working in an agency setting and looking for a move client side, or you are already working in client side either way this role could be your new challenge!
Diversity & Inclusion
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel you do not match 100% of the technical requirements. We celebrate diversity, promote inclusivity and strive to create a work environment which ensures everyone can be heard.
What’s important to MPS is that our people live our values of Member First, Ambitious, Determined and Empowered.
