Role - Business Intelligence Lead
Skills - SQL / Power BI or Tableau / Azure
Location - Nottingham, 5 days per week
Salary - Up to £75,000 Based on experience.

The Company

Oscar Technology has partnered with a large business looking to expand its IT / Technology team; specifically, they're looking for a Business Intelligence lead to create a new team within the business, focussing on building an additional Database Developer division.

As a family-owned business, they pride themselves on being in business for 40 years and working with over 1000 companies.

The Role

This role is to build up a new team within the business. The focus of this role would be owning the Database and Reporting development within the business and making improvements to the Data Warehouse and dashboards.

You will be managing your own team and reporting back to C suite level, which is made up of technical and non-technical stakeholders, so being able to translate findings back to them is a must.

Responsibilities

• Create self-serve reports and dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau.
• Create reports based on the objectives gathered from internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify issues with the data sources and, where possible, work on a plan to migrate them.
• Support the other areas of the team with technical elements of models and dashboards.
• Interpret data to highlight any issues or risks that will support and influence decision-making.
