About the Role:
We have an opportunity for you to join the team at the weekly market in the Market Hall at Lockmeadow. We are looking for a highly motivated and disciplined person to assist with the operation of various markets and market hall events.
Based on a 10-hour week, flexibility is key in carrying out the varied duties involved in the general security, unlocking and locking up after events, mainly at weekend, the cleaning and general maintenance and in the hall. Unsocial hours are routine with very early starts and at times, very late closings.
Owing to the small team involved, the ability to assist in the general administration and cash collection would be an advantage.
About You:
You will have experience of working in customer services and the ability to work as a good team player, as well as working on your own initiative. Due to the very nature of the role, heavy lifting will be required, therefore you will need to able to lift 30kg load.
Knowledge of healthy and safety and prior experience of working in markets is desirable.
