Job description
As a Commercial Insight Analyst, you will build relationships with stakeholders across the Commercial team, support their insight requirements, and manage all aspects of insights generation. You will lead or support primary research projects, transforming them into compelling stories. Additionally, you'll design, launch, and analyse consumer surveys, polls, and video content. Managing third-party relationships and championing the consumer voice internally are also part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with the insight team, you'll provide a consistent consumer view.
Key Responsibilities: Overall:
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the Commercial team.
- Manage primary research projects and synthesize insights from various sources.
- Transform research findings into impactful stories that inspire action.
- Design and analyse consumer surveys, polls, and video content.
- Collaborate with external agencies to achieve desired outcomes.
- Advocate for consumer insights in decision-making processes.
- Share best practices and insights within the insight team.
Commercial & Trading Specific:
- Support the Commercial insight plan across multiple areas.
- Generate insights for business planning, category management, and range reviews.
- Identify opportunities to drive business performance through customer-centric actions.
- Analyse key customer missions to inform business strategies.
Location:
The company has a base in London and Nuneaton and some travel will be required to both locations, however the role is predominately based in Nuneaton. There may also be occasional travel outside of the UK. - Experience in Consumer Insight, either client-side or at a strategy consultancy or research agency.
- Passion for data and insight, with strong analytical and curiosity-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Strong understanding of market and customer data sources.
- Self-motivated and capable of making insight-driven decisions and recommendations.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to deliver impactful presentations.
- Skilled in managing stakeholders and building collaborative relationships.
- Strong team player with attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
