The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Manufacturing Operator for our Bangor site, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
- To undertake production line operator duties, working safely and in line with the highest standards of current Good Manufacturing Practice to meet agreed production schedules.
- To work as part of a small production team delivering on Safety, Quality and Productivity performance.
- Performing quality assurance and testing checks
- Measuring and classifying all raw materials in preparation for production
- Assembling, packing and labelling the finished goods in preparation for shipment
- Can involve shift operation covering a variety of processes, procedures, and equipment to produce a range of masking tapes for different markets.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience of working in a Manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Team player with ability to work on own initiative
- Works well in a changing and challenging environment
- Excellent attention to detail and follows instructions precisely
- Experience of working shifts would be advantageous
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include
- Preferred - GCSE - 2 A - C (or equivalent, including English / Math’s)
- Have a current Reach & Counterbalance FLT License
- Knowledge and/or experience of SAP reporting is desirable

- 12 hour rotating shift pattern days & nights - *£26,452 per annum plus 18% shift premium
- 8 hour rotating shift pattern days & evenings - *£22,427 per annum plus 11% shift premium
