Job Title: Material Controller/Buyer
Location: Birchwood/Leeds

Mission: Materials and Purchasing supply role in the Ecofit UK business

Placing purchase orders in the SAP system in line with production requirements.

General supplier liaison, i.e. expediting, resolving supply problems, quality issues, invoice queries etc.

Creating and managing production orders.

Managing project shortages

Managing kitting and material flows for allocated projects.

Helping to reduce costs by supplier negotiation etc

Occasional stores duties as and when required

Good computer skills – SAP experience or similar preferred

Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and suppliers

Previous experience in a production and engineering environment

Knowledge or experience of supply chain and logistics activities

Purchasing and or engineering qualifications

Good overall level of education
