Job description
Nu Staff Recruitment are looking for a manufacturing Operative for their forward thinking Chepstow based Client. Experience of working with metal drilling, cutting measuring precisely would be an advantage as would be useful with tools.
Pay : £11 per hour
Hours of work : Monday to Thursday 07.00 - 15.30 / Friday -13.00
Duties:
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and efficiency
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting materials
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
