Responsibilities
This role will involve technical interpretation of detailed customer specification/drawing, you will provide the engineering job pack, which will allow the manufacturing operations team to complete the order to a detailed process. Key responsibilities are:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Full technical contract review
- Develop and improve our laser cutting and fabrication processes to increase efficiency and quality, while reducing costs.
- Liaising with the customer to resolve issues.
- Liaising with the production control to ensure all items are scheduled for manufacture.
- Project management of specific work packages.
- Quoting work packages for external/internal stakeholders.
- Pro-active involvement with the clients to understand their expectations and deliver against them.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Manager within an engineering environment, predominantly within Laser Cutting/Fabrication
- Knowledge of engineering processes
- Detailed understanding of engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- An energetic, outgoing and confident manner with natural leadership ability and a “hands-on” approach

7:30am – 4pm Monday – Thursday & 7:30am -3pm Friday
